Two Master programmes offered by Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) were listed in the "Financial Times" Masters in Management 2015. CEMS Master in International Management was ranked #4 (up from #5 in 2014), while Master in Management programme was ranked #75 (down from #68 in 2014). "Financial Times" ranking compares the best 80 Master programmes in Management offered by business schools from around the world. The list also includes CEMS Master in International Management, which is taught in 29 business schools - in Poland the programme is offered only by SGH Warsaw School of Economics. CEMS - Global Alliance in Management Education is a consortium of leading business schools and their corporate partners.
SGH Warsaw School in Economics is still one of only two Polish schools present on the list. Kozminski University was ranked #42 (down from #35 in 2014).
The FT ranking takes under consideration the career status of alumni three years after graduation. Progression is measured according to level of seniority and the size of company in which they are employed at. According to the ranking weighted salary of SGH Master in Management graduates three years after graduation was $41104, while 96% of the programme alumni find employment within three months from graduation. SGH received #23 rank in the value for money criterium. In case of CEMS MIM alumni their average salary is $68,774, while the employment within three months after graduation was admitted by 95% surveyed alumni of the CEMS Programme.
The criteria that contribute to the ranking include three areas. First is a survey among graduates of the course. They answer questions about their career, salaries, or status in their companies. The second area is the school diversity, such as percentage of women in the faculty, foreigners in the advisory board etc. This area also includes the percentage of international students and foreigners among staff. The third area includes participating in foreign programs and foreign languages offer. Financial Times Masters in Management 2014 was won by the St. Gallen University of Switzerland for the fifth consecutive time. HEC Paris and Essec Business School followed again.
